There are many, many IT Trade Shows. Manufacturers, particularly retail/consumer focussed rather than Business to Business focussed Manufacturers, frequently use them to provide extensive contact with their customers. All exhibitions and events involve a hiatus of activity just before the start, involving involving stand builders, lighting riggers, and exhibition specialists, and a mad scramble at the end.

The IT equipment is often the star of the show, there would be no show if the equipment was not there. Therefore the job of getting equipment set-up beforehand, safely into the event in the allotted time window, and out of the event, again, in the allotted time window, and making sure all equipment is accounted for, is crucial.
